Everyone is welcome to come on a vigorous hike with the vigorous hikers every tuesday in Northern Virginia. The Tuesday hikes are for hikers in good physical condition. Age does not matter, but you should understand what it means to hike 15 or so miles with 3000 ft. of climb at a relatively fast pace. We generally hike trails in the Shenandoah National Park or George Washington National Forest.

Hikers may meet us at the trailhead or join the carpool from Centerville. To carpool you will generally , meet at 7 am at Stone Rd. Park and Ride off I-66 west, exit 52, Centerville. If you are new to our group, you may want to call the hike leader for the week to discuss hike details and the meeting location.
Remember, anyone is welcome to join our vigorous hikers email list to get the detailed information on each hike from the hike leader on Friday or Saturday and any hike updates or revisions. After details for a hike are emailed to the list it will be the top message in the "Discussion" list at http://groups.google.com/group/Vigorous-Hikers.
